Heralding the TV Movies by Martin Scorsese, Sony Music Australia is proud to release four of the music soundtracks to accompany these movies.

This much anticipated, and appreciated work, will be screened on US television during October, and is sure to encourage huge interest for the music in Australia, before the yet to be announced
screening in this country.

When Scorsese made this film, he decided to 'dig for the roots of the blues'. His search took him not just to the Deep South, but all the way back to West Africa. Spanning two continents and seven decades, featuring artists from Robert Johnson to Taj Mahal to Ali Farka Toure, this collection offers a unique perspective on the past, present, and future of the blues.
