It’s 21 years since the release of ‘Diesel and Dust’
To mark it's coming of age the album has been digitally remastered and a limited edition release will include a bonus DVD of 'Blackfella/Whitefella', the documentary of the Oils' 1986 tour of remote Aboriginal settlements with the
Warumpi Band.
Performance footage on the DVD includes 'Power and the Passion', 'Best of Both Worlds' and 'Read About It' along with film clips for The Dead Heart and Beds are Burning. The hour long doco also features brilliant performances by the Warumpi Band whose song 'Blackfella/Whitefella' gave its name to the tour.
